Mandate for a legal representative
When applying for electronic credentials for staff, a legal representative must be specified in the application.

According to the rules of Auðkenni regarding the management and issuance of electronic credentials, a legal representative must sign applications for electronic credentials applied for on behalf of the respective legal entity.
A legally authorized representative is the individual who has the authority to obligate the respective legal entity. Therefore, a legally authorized representative must have a power of attorney or authorization from a registered power of attorney holder.
If a proxy is not registered in the Company Registry, then one must fill out an electronic proxy.
