About seal

A digital signature is an electronic representation of a seal or stamp of the sender.

When a document has been sealed with a seal from Auðkenni, the recipient of electronic documents from you can trust the origin of the document. It is also ensured that the document has not been altered since you sealed it.

When is it necessary to use a seal?

Real estate contracts or university diplomas are examples of documents that are important to seal so that the recipient can in good faith be certain that the document was actually issued by the sender and that the content of the document has not been tampered with.

Two types:

We offer two types of certificates, one is the NCP Advanced which can be installed on any computer and the other is the fully qualified certificate, NCP+ which requires special equipment.

Validity and price
