When using smart cards with electronic certificates, you will need a card reader and Nexus Personal software. Both are necessary to correctly read the electronic certificates.
Some computers have built in card readers, other users can easily use a card reader that connects via USB. They can be purchased in most bank branches as well as Audkenni‘s offices at Borgartún 31.
The Nexus Personal software is downloadable free of charge. There are seperate versions for different operating systems such as Windows, Mac or Linux. Each be can be downloaded by clicking the corresponding link:
