Service providers
A fixed monthly fee of ISK 16,500 excluding VAT is charged to service providers for access to the certificate system. In addition, customers who do not normally fall into level 5 or higher may be required to pay an additional fixed monthly fee of ISK 110,000 excluding VAT for the services that users at level 5 or above enjoy due to their volume purchases.
Status inquiries for authentication
A fee is charged to service providers for each status inquiry in the identification system. The base fee for the inquiry is 10 ISK excluding VAT, but an increased discount is provided with an increased volume of inquiries on a monthly basis, as shown in the table below:

A fee is charged to service providers for each signature request in the certificate system. The base fee for the request is 115 ISK excluding VAT, but an increased discount is provided with an increased volume of requests on a monthly basis, as per the table below:

Lookup of electronic credentials
Service providers are charged a fee for each lookup through the credential support service of Auðkenni.
The fee is in accordance with the tariff of status inquiries.
Initial Fee
A fixed initial fee of ISK 104,500 excluding VAT is charged for the registration and connection of service providers to the identification system.
The initial fee includes the following items:
Up to two hours of expert assistance with setup.
Equipment certificates issued by a recognized authority with a one-year validity period.
The service provider's monthly fee for the first month and the following calendar month.
